1. Why should I choose Green
Cleaners to clean my home?
It is essential that we make every effort to preserve our
environment. A change in attitude and a shift towards a ‘greener’
lifestyle can ensure our legacy will be to leave behind a clean
environment for our children, grandchildren and generations beyond
to enjoy. Opting for our green cleaning service will not only
improve the health of our environment but on you. The chemicals
found in many cleaning products in your home typically pose risk to
your wellbeing. Continuous exposure to these toxins can potentially
have an adverse impact on you, your family and your pets. Allergy
sufferers and indeed everyone can benefit immensely from opting for
our service.
2. How much does a Green Cleaning Service cost?
Packages vary, depending on number of rooms, regularity of
bookings and apartment size, with the sufficient time allocated to
the appointment. You can schedule weekly, twice weekly, bi weekly or monthly
appointments. A regular booking schedule and prepayment does offer
incentives through our loyalty scheme. Our cleaning products are
included in the package. We can also offer a one time single deep cleaning
appointment, please call or email our staff for a quotation.
3. Am I required to sign a contract for a
regular cleaning booking and how do I pay for my service package?
No. We require pre payment for your first
appointment, plus one month bond on
confirmation of a green cleaning program. An invoice will be
arranged after each appointment. Payments of invoices must be
settled within 7 days, by cash, cheque or via PayPal. You may wish to prepay, for
a 6 month package which will offer a 10% saving through our
loyalty scheme.
4. What happens if I wish to cancel my
contract/appointment?
Should you wish to terminate your green cleaning service,
cancellation of your contract requires one month notice or forfeit
of bond. On cancellation of a prepayment contract, 50% of the
remaining contract shall be refunded.
We request cancellations or rescheduling notice two business days in
advance. Same day cancellations are charged at half price of
the scheduled cleaning.
5. How long does a regular appointment take?
Our packages are based on four hour appointments. We
have found four hours is the shortest amount of time in which we can
complete a green home cleaning appointment for a typical 2/3 bedroom
apartment. Because our cleanings are so thorough, our green cleaning
staff need the time to clean, scrub, and dust all the corners of
your rooms. Larger apartments may require extra time to ensure our
service is fully completed and will be explained in your detailed
quote.
6. What does a regular green cleaning booking
include?
For your own satisfaction, we provide our 45 point check list of
cleaning services completed on every appointment. We offer full home
cleaning services, all safe in the
knowledge, that all products are non toxic to your health or the
environment.
7. What products do you use?
The supplies we use are listed in our products page. They are more
expensive than their toxic peers, but we use them because the human
and environmental health cost is lower. We look for supplies that
are non-toxic, bio-degradable and effective.
8. What supplies do I need?
Our green cleaning consultants bring all cleaning agents, sponges
and scourers with them to green home cleaning appointments. However,
for sanitary reasons, we ask that clients provide some basic
cleaning tools of their own. Clients should have a toilet bowl
brush, a mop and bucket, a broom and dustpan, a step stool (if
required). Vacuum cleaners are suggested for
heavy duty dusting and homes with pets. Keep in mind that the better
quality these tools are, the more efficient our cleaning consultants
can be. For example, if you have a good vacuum cleaner, we can more
efficiently clean underneath your furniture and other dusty corners
than if you had only a broom and dustpan.
9. How are your staff hired and checked?
Green Cleaners is not an agency and therefore does not charge any
agency fees or commissions on our packages. Our cleaning consultants
must all go through our screening process and stringent interview to
work for us. They are paid on a monthly basis to ensure that
client’s security is maintained. Our cleaning consultants are all
critically trained on our green cleaning program, consisting of
procedures that maximize cleaning results while protecting home
occupants. They will be happy to demonstrate and explain the
benefits of our environmentally friendly products on request.
You can be sure
your home will be cleaned to the highest standards, as all our staff
come
from previous 5* hotel backgrounds.
10. Will you send the same person/team on each
appointment?
We always strive to keep your Green Cleaners experience consistent.
If you book green home cleaning appointments with us on a recurring
basis (weekly, twice weekly, biweekly, or monthly), we will schedule
the same cleaning consultant(s) for each appointment. If your regularly
scheduled cleaning consultant(s) are unable to make your appointment due
for whatever reason, we will substitute another cleaning consultant(s)
for the appointment.
11. Are you insured against damages? What about
theft?
At Green Cleaners, we treat your home as we would our own. However,
in the event that an object is accidentally damaged through
negligence, please notify our office within 24 hours of your
appointment. Green Cleaners will only be liable for a maximum $100
damages. We will not be liable for damage through wear and tear. We
understand that our clients have sentimentally valuable items which
may not be replaceable, which is why we take extra care in your home
to be careful of all your belongings.
Green Cleaners will conduct an immediate and throughout
investigation in the unlikely incident of theft. If deemed
necessary, the matter will be reported to the police.
12. Do I have to be home for my appointment?
Most of our clients are not home during their green home cleaning
appointments. Some clients let us in before they leave for work.
Some clients leave keys with their front desk staff or have keys on
file at our office. We have some clients who feel more comfortable
being home for their green home cleanings appointments. Whatever
your preference, we are happy to make your experience pleasant and
convenient.
13. Should I tip my cleaning consultant?
Tipping is not required, although may be offered as a reward for
excellent service. Some clients leave cash or a cheque for their
cleaning consultants; others prefer to have our office staff add a
gratuity to their appointment payment.
14. Do you offer discounts or promotions?
If you refer four new clients to us, you will receive a 4
hour complimentary cleaning appointment. We also offer seasonal and other
discounts through our e-newsletter, which we publish once a month.
15. How do I give feedback to Green Cleaners?
We welcome feedback from all of our clients, as we are always trying
to improve our services. Please call or email our office to share
your experience with one of our client services representatives.
16.
Mailing list prize draw terms and conditions:
One entry only per household, per
email. Only available to Singapore residents. 5 x winners, per draw,
with a 4hr Green Home Cleaning appointment prize for each winner.
Appointment must be scheduled within one month of draw date, subject
to availability. All entries to be received by midnight on the day
prior to draw date. Not to be used in conjunction with any other
offer. Winners will be contacted by email and all winners announced
on our Newsletter, post draw. Green Cleaners reserves the right to
cancel/amend draw, prizes and dates without prior notice.
